Overview

Dr Silva completed his medical degree at The University of Queensland in 2012. He undertook his junior doctor years training in hospitals across Queensland and South Australia and completed his orthopaedic training in Queensland in 2023.

He has completed Orthopaedic Fellowships in Australia and Canada (2023 and 2024), where his training focused on Direct Anterior Approach (DAA) Robotic Total Hip Replacement, Personalised Alignment Robotic Total and Partial Knee Replacements, Complex Primary and Revision Arthroplasty, and other surgery of the hip and knee.

Dr Silva is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (RACS) and the Australian Orthopaedic Association (AOA).
